Chris Welch began his career as a Management Trainee (MPTP) in December 1995 at Vista, CA. His remarkable professional journey led him to be named Prudential's sixth President in 2019! Chris holds a BA from UC San Diego and pursued further education by obtaining an MBA from the University of New Mexico through the Company's tuition reimbursement program. Chris has been married to Tricia since 1997 (Albuquerque honeymoon!), and they share two amazing children Johnathan (24) and Kyra (20).

Congratulations to Alejandro (Alex) Ponce to Plant Manager Trainee at our Round Rock, TX Plant! Alex is from the Santa Ana, CA area and worked several years managing grocery stores throughout northern and southern California. He joined Prudential as a MPTP in 2022 at our Irvine, CA location. During his training, he spent time at our Cerritos, CA Distribution Center, Moorpark, CA, Las Vegas, NC, Riverside, CA and assisted with the Delta acquisition at our Albuquerque, NM Plant. In July of 2023, he accepted a position at our San Antonio, TX Plant as an Industrial Route Manager. He was then quickly promoted, in October, to a Cleanroom Production Manager at our Round Rock, TX Plant. After 6 months of solid performance in that role he has now promoted to the position of plant manager trainee. When not working he enjoys reading, hiking, and is currently pursuing a MBA at The University of Iowa. Congratulation Alex!
