TubeClear System (Actuated Medical)

The TubeClear System is a feeding tube clearing system that uses proprietary mechanical motion to clear partial and full clogs in feeding and decompression tubes (Tubes) while the Tube remains indwelling and at bedside. TubeClear was developed to assist healthcare practitioners with maintaining enteral medication and nutrition therapy. During delivery, medication and nutrition materials often build up on the inner walls of Tubes. Over time, this buildup narrows the inner diameter and causes the Tube to become sluggish and/or clog which impedes critical enteral therapy delivery. Using the TubeClear System regularly helps to keep enteral therapy on schedule and using TubeClear quickly on clogged Tubes restores patency and enteral therapy schedules.
